Conceptualized in 2004, under the compassionate and skilled guidance
of Dr K Srinivasulu, the Animal Welfare Society (AWS),
aims at protecting the animals’ rights, to live in a
safe and healthy environment. Recognised by the
Animal Welfare Board of India, the Ministry of
Environment & the Govt of India, each member of the
AWS dedicated
team, is striving to prevent suffering, abuse
and neglect towards animals.
It is the heart felt
endeavour of AWS to bring a change in the attitude
of people in their inhuman treatment towards
animals. The selfless
services of AWS strive to make a difference in
the mindset of each society, each home and each
heart, with a hope that each animal will not be
mistreated.
From creating public
awareness about being kind to all living beings, to
educating the masses about the welfare of their
animals, the various
activities of AWS yearn to create a sense of
responsibility towards animals in the society.
Encouraging pet ownership, providing medical aid to
injured animals and shelter to the neglected, stray
beings, AWS leaves no stone unturned in caring for
the silent and needy creatures.
