1 Statistical Reports from 2006-2010:

2. Animal Birth Control Programmes: A.W.S. is one of the pioneer organization in conducting large scale A.B.C. Programmes. Between the Year 2006-2011, around 1,00,000 dogs have been neutered. We follow all the protocols of Surgery, at the same time considering the practical field possibilities and keeping the Animal Welfare as main objective. Initiated ABC in mass scale in Hyderabad in 2007 and have done more than 56000 surgeries have been carried out. Institute of Preventive medicine notice and recorded the decline in the number of dog bites during 2007 -10. But, unfortunately the mass scale system of ABC has been stopped by the authorities in Hyderabad.

3.World Zoonoses Day: On 6th July 2008, A.W.S. created a milestone by sterilizing and vaccinating 500 dogs in a single day. On Every zoonosis day AWS is conducting free ARV capms in various places / vet clinics in Hyderabad & Vizag. 

4. Srisailam Forest Range ABC Camp The AWS team visited the Srisailam forest range for the sterilization of dogs and monkeys between 14th to 17th August 2008.

5. Mantralayam Flood Relief Camp: On Oct.13^th 2009, the A.W.S. team visited the marooned Mantralayam and organized a Health cum Vaccination Program. Approx. 450 cows were vaccinated against H.S. and B.Q. and 120 calves were dewormed. The convalescent animals were treated accordingly. Packed Food, Water and Clothes were distributed among the deceased people.

6. Health Camps: AWS conducts a number of health and vaccination camps in rural areas to provide necessary medical assistance and guidance to the animal owners/ farmers. In coordination with its branches, AWS also conducts a number of Educational Programmes and Awareness camps in rural areas of the state and also at schools. During 2006, awareness program to Swine Japanese Encephalitis was organized at Pochampalli and awareness of transporting cattle & sheep in market at ., which was highly acclaimed among the masses.

7.Our organization is a member organization in Vets Beyond Borders, and also working in association with Planned Pethood Plus, Inc. USA. AWS has worked with College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar for the ABC/AR Programme in Rajendranagar. 

Founders: Dr.Srinivasulu Karnati, Founder Secreatary - is a Veterinarian by profession  ( Graduated from the College of Veterinary Science, Rajendranagar in the year 1995), completed certificate course on Animal Welfare (TANUVAS)  and now Animal Welfare activist.

Smt.Geetha Rani, Founder President, Graduate in Public Administration, Political Science, Diploma Holder in Education and ardent animal lover, completed Certificate Course on  Animal Welfare – TANUVAS.

All other Executive committee members and regular members of the organization are dedicated to animal welfare and their well being.

Looking for an Ambassador for taking the concept to the masses, corporate sponsorship for regular activities, Vehicles (New / Pre owned / 4 or 2 Wheelers) for rescuing, legal advising senior advocate volunteer and volunteers for humane education & training.

We are hiring experienced ABC surgeons and trained dog catchers.

You can become a annual member by paying a small amount of Rs200/- , anyone can become a volunteer for free and any amount or anything which can be used for the animal well being can be donated.
